Can I make it so people can not submit incomplete forms?

Asked by MWalkup on January 31, 2013 at 11:05 AM

    Hi there,

I am wondering if I can make it impossible for people to submit incomplete forms (ie: not all fields are filled out)? Can you set it up so an error message pops up if someone tries to submit an incomplete form?

    Thanks!

Yes, you can set certain fields as required , simply select the field and click on the required button at the toolbar

You can even add at the bottom a captcha field that you can even convert it to recaptcha

To prevent these validations to get disabled , you can either share the direct link with your users

O embed the form into an HTML webpage using the iFrame method

In addition to what I mentioned,  warning messages will be shown if the users do not fill the required fields

You can even customize those warning messages

    1. On your form, Click on Setup & Embed and Click Preferences above.

    2. Go to the Advanced tab and click Edit Form Warnings

    3. Change the message to your preference and save the form.
