How to produce receipt for a customer using Stripe?

    Hi,  Has anyone figured out an easy (easier) way to supply a credit card transaction receipt to a customer using stripe?  I hope not to have to create a few hundred individual emails in order to assure customers that their credit card transaction was/is successful.  I am wondering if anyone has figured this out.  Thanks for whatever help you supply.

    You can add a form Autoresponder with your custom email template to your Stripe form. In this way, users will get their confirmation auto replies upon payment form submissions.

    I already make use of notifications and auto-responders for various purposes.  However I don't find any of the Stripe integrations as options to put into the auto responder.  Maybe I am not looking in the right place.  Thanks.

    You will need to add a simple form Autoresponder. Click on the Email Alerts, then proceed through Email Wizard steps.

    Creating a Form Autoresponder

    This is not a part of the Stripe integration, but it might be definitely used as a confirmation auto reply. Stripe form will not allow submissions without payment, so that, each successful payment submission will trigger the form Autoresponder.

    Ok, I think I understand.  Is the following correct?  When using the Stripe integration if the credit card transaction is not successful for any reason (rejected, mis entered, etc) Stripe does not allow the form itself to be successfully submitted.  

    If that is true then the auto-responder message could include an explanation that the customer's credit card has been successfully charged for the amount that was shown.

     

    If all this is true, then I will adjust my thank you and auto responder to include such a message to my customer. Thanks for your assistance.

    Yes that is correct, if your payment is not accepted the form itself will not go through such as when related Credit Card Payment there will usually be a warning that pops up stating it's invalid which will also deny the submission of the form.
