Notify via Autoresponder when form is edited?

I have a form I use to collect maintenance requests for a small private college, and I'd like to automatically notify requestors when their work request status changes (in process, waiting for parts, completed, etc).

The problem is that Notification emails come out when it's edited, but those only go to me, and I can't set notification emails to go to the requestor. Autoresponder emails go to the requestor, but they don't send out when the entry is edited.

Any chance one of those two factors can be changed?

I just figured it out! When I enter the value for the email address field into the recipient settings for a Notification email (in my case the value is {emailAddress}), it sends a notification email based on the address the user entered.

This is what I wanted! Still, I'd rather have the option to let Autoresponder emails go to the requestor, because with this method I can only control the "From" settings by inserting hidden fields into my form to make the email replies go to me instead of

    Hi there,

We are glad you were able to find a workaround!

Unfortunately, Autoresponders are not sent when a form is editted because some users only edit forms for Office Use only.

Still, it would be a nice idea to have the option to send Autoresponder on Edit or not.
I will submit this as a request to our dev team.

They will consider it and will update you as soon as there are any news on the request.

    Thanks for your feedback!

Notifications and Edits to notifications are e-mailed

Autoresponders are e-mailed once, but not triggered when a submission is edited.
