I set up payment using Square for membership fees to be automatically renewed every month.
On my square dashboard it shows payment went through but does not show it as reoccurring monthly. How do I set this up properly?

Unfortunately, due to API limitations it's not possible to show the subscriptions under the recurring charges of Square, if your integration is configured to sell subscriptions then your users will be still charged on the configured schedule and amount.
You can check the user's payments on your Square dashboard under the customer's activity section:
