I see you have already added the QR code in the Form.

In the Autoresponse email add the QR code widget and it will be displayed on the Form submission.

Thanks. Can more than one code be added for each ticket?

Which field do you want to encode and display in a QR code?

Do you want to encode simple texts/sentences? Then you have to add multiple QR codes in your Form and then display these fields in the Autoresponse emails.

You can also use our Dynamic QR code which will encode any of the Form field value.

How can the qr codes be linked to scan and allocate scanned to data?

I am not sure if I have understood correctly. Do you mean to say scan the QR code and then output it to a text field?

Currently, we only have a QR Code Reader widget, it allows your form users to scan a QC code and output it on a text box shown by the widget. It can only handle one input at a time. That widget also uses Flash.

Please give it a try and let us know.

    Thanks.

For the different tickets (email) we want different QR code for each. is this possible? I have added a second QR code field but the code looks the same.

I noticed you have different fields in the Form like Name Ticket 1,2,3 etc.

Do you want to encode the data in these fields to Dynamic QR code widget?

If yes, then you may copy the labels in the Dynamic QR code widget's "Field label to encode" field.

    Please refer to this screenshot:

For different field you may configure different QR widget and map each widget in the email then a unique QR code would be generated for each Form field.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.

In the tickets(on email) im trying to get a different QR code for each submission. Is this possible?

Also can the QR code be scanned to the submission data to mark off as scanned?

We are looking to sell tickets online and scan them at the entry gate.

Yes, that is possible. All you need to do is to add a Dynamic QR Code for each Ticket that you sell. You have 14 ticket boxes, so you need to add 14 Dynamic QR Code widgets in the form. Each Dynamic QR Code will have the field label of their corresponding field.

Next, edit your autoresponder email templates and add each Dynamic QR Code to their corresponding email ticket.

There is no way you can scan and mark off a ticket as being scanned, but maybe, a workaround would be to add a status box for the submission and edit submission every time a ticket is scanned. Here's a similar approach you can follow: https://www.jotform.com/help/194-How-To-Assign-Status-To-Submissions.

I hope that helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

What are QR codes used for within jotform if they cant be scanned off ? Is there away to do this if the submission data is downloaded somewhere else?

The QR code can be scanned of course, but validating the QR code and presenting users an error that the QR has already been scanned is impossible. There is no option you can validate the QR code like that.

Your workaround here would be to validate the QR code manually by asking them to present the QR code when they arrive at the entry gate. Scan the QR code. Search for the scan data in the submissions page. Edit the submission and put a status as per the guide below:
