Could you please explain more about what you want to achieve? If you want to hide the number of questions based on the user input, you can use Show / Hide Field condition to achieve.

The only way to do so is to use our embed option:
And embed your form, when embedded, you will have the embed options showing:
With that option checked, the numbers will not show.

I don't have the inline embded settings option, or maybe I can't find it.

The option is only visible with embedded forms, currently the icon is not showing, we are working on that fix:
But it's still accessible.
