Encrypted Form problem (again)

    Greetings:

We accidentally started with an encrypted form -- then changed to unencrypted.

Now, when we try to export an .xls report, half the submissions are encrypted.

We tried turning on the encryption for a few minutes while exporting the file, but it still sent encrypted results.

    Can you assist ASAP?

    Thanks,

    Bob Pimm

The encrypted submission won't decrypt by turning off this feature. You need to use the encryption key that was generated when you first encrypted the form.

Please note that turning on the encryption feature to generate a new key will not decrypt the old data since each encryption key is unique.

If you lost the original key, the data is unfortunately lost too, since the key never makes it to our servers.
