How can I set submission limits on a form option?

Can I set a limit so that only 10 submissions will include Option 1 of a dropdown? I would like 10 submissions of Option 1 to disable Option 1, but not disable the other options or the entire form. Is there a way to do this?

Yes you can limit this per each form. You will have to specify what you want on each form then you can change the limit of submissions allowed for each of the forms. Please see

I think that to create a form like this it would require some additional programming knowledge and the form's source code. You might then be able to create a form within a form with this where the option would then be disabled.

A form inside a form where the option would be disabled? How do you do that?

I think it's possible to include a form in another form by embedding the iFrame of the second form into the first via a free text (HTML) tool:

The form embedded there could consist of just the dropdown and have a submission limit set on it. I can envisage a way for this to work but as my colleague has stated, it would require some programming (a script) because the embedded form would have to be auto-submitted once a choice is made in its dropdown. I know that that's feasible because sometime back such a solution was provided for another user.

We'll see if we can come up with something for you but we're not making any promises.
