if I use a jotform for registration at our day center

mid there an automatic recall component to the form, meaning if someone shows up 3 times weekly is there a way for this person to enter their name and the form auto populate their basic details so they aren’t t having to type basic demographics repetitiously with each visit

Please check on the Autofill feature of the form.

How to Enable Auto Fill on Forms

Enabling the AUTOFILL feature will automatically save the form's field values locally (browser local storage) for up to 24 hours. The saved local data is cleared when the form is submitted, or after the 24 hours from the form access time

Clearing the autofill data after 24hrs or after submission is a security feature -- this is to prevent stealing info/data in case the device/computer used was in public.

I understand what you require is to have the Autofill active even beyond 24hrs and can be used multiple times even after the form had been submitted already.

Unfortunately the option is not available right now. The user will have to use the Autofill feature up to within 24hrs only and can submit only once. After submitting the form, if the user need want to reuse the form again, the user will need now to redo from scratch again.

Enabling Autofill beyond 24hrs and multiple times is just to risky base on security related matter.

I hope this help. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
