is there a way to save a form for later use? I use a form for my technician's daily checklist and when they close the browser it resets that form sometimes.

There are two ways that you can have your respondents save their data in the form so they can continue filling it up at a later time.

    (1) The form has an auto-fill feature that lets your respondents not lose the data they have already entered if, in any case, they have closed or refreshed/reloaded the browser by accident. When the auto-fill feature of the form is enabled, it will automatically save the field's values in the browser's local storage. It will be stored there for up to 24 hours. When the form is submitted within that period, the stored data will also be cleared.

When you choose to use this feature, please note that your respondents need to use the same browser they used when they start filling up the form. Also, clearing the browser data will delete the stored data in its local storage.

    (2) The next one is more like a workaround that uses a session to save the form data. With this method, your respondents can access the form they have initially filled even on a different browser. A complete explanation on how you can set it up on your form is found in this guide — How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature

Please give both a try to see which best suits your needs. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
