    Zoho Integration: Allow a normal text box to be mapped on a Phone Field from Zoho

    I am trying to use the phone field to capture calls and it's necessary for me to use your preformatted phone field rather than a text box, because my forms integrate with Zoho. The problem is that format does not work correctly for international phone number submissions and is not what a user would expect. We just had a lead that took the time to email us, because he was frustrated with one of our forms. 

    I'd either like to see me be able to map a normal text field to the phone field in Zoho CRM or have an setting for the Phone field in JotForm that creates one long number.

    Further to this, I am creating a new more involved form today and of course want to populate in ZOho automatically. Unfortunately, in order to have address fields map to Zoho address fields, I have to use the Address Quick Tool, but can't of course change any of those fields. Then in order to map the phone field to the phone field in Zoho, I have to use your preset US based phone field and can't designate it as an international number in the properties. If I want international users to be able to enter their phone number, I then have to create a new phone field that won't map to Zoho phone field. So my next idea was to have 2 phone fields, both a US and International phone field based upon a text field. My idea was to use the country designation in the address field, to then use Show/Hide field capabilities to show the International field when an country other than US is chosen. This too is limited because of your Address Quick Tool though, because I can't key off the country field embedded in the address block in the Show/Hide dialog, I can't even create a work around for this situation and it's not a working solution to tell me to create a new international phone field in Zoho. 


    1. If I use the address block in Quick Tools, continue to treat them as separate fields in the other functionality of JotForm and allow me to eliminate fields I don't want in my form, so I can maximize conversions. 

    2. Allow mapping any field I want to any field in Zoho. I realize you are trying to protect users from mapping incompatible data types, but maybe have an advanced option that lets us take our chances or notify a user in Zoho integration that a field is incompatible. 

    Ultimately, the grouping of fields to make it quick to create field types is great, but the restrictions around it's use are far too limiting. I hope the developers can address this soon. I recently posted a request to clone my ZOho integration setup when I clone a form and that was implemented in 2 days by NeilVicente per your CTO's request. Hoping this serious usability issue can be addressed as soon as possible.
