So when we pass a long text entry field data to a text field on the same form using the drop down "Form Fields" from the text field, the multi line data is displayed on only one line and does not keep formatting.

To clarify,do you want to keep the formatting of your long text entry field when populating your Text field?

Example:

Unfortunately, there is no option to keep the formatting when you populate the Long Text entry to the text field.
