Alternatives to PayPal

    Community members,

I am running a small business just like I assume most of you do. Due to nature of a business, I am required to issue full or partial refunds from time to time. PayPal is updating their policy and on May 7th sellers will be able to make full or partial refunds but we will still have to pay a variable fee (2.9%). So in my case, on a transaction of $345, I would have to pay a $10.05 fee. While it might look not significant, these fees do add up so I am starting to look into PayPal alternatives. Do you have any suggestions? Any experience with Stripe, Google Pay, Authorize.Net or similar services? How do they fit into JotForm?

Thanks in advance. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Milos

Stripe has a similar fee: https://stripe.com/en-US/pricing#pricing-details not sure if there is a refund fee, I wasn't able to find that info, about refunds you can read here: https://stripe.com/docs/refunds

I know, regarding Stripe, that disputes (if such occur) will cause Stripe to charge you a certain fee.

    It's similar for Authorize.net: https://www.authorize.net/sign-up/pricing/

And apparently, they charge fees for refunds as well: https://account.authorize.net/help/Account/Merchant_Profile/Fee_Definitions.htm

We don't have integration with Google Pay I'm afraid.

Regarding the refund and fees, I would advise you to check with payment support to be sure (Authorize.net and Stripe).

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!

Thank you! Stripe does look like a solid alternative.
