    Hi,

I was wondering if HIPAA compliant forms could be used for other branches too.

I'm busy building a form for my clients in the finance business and I would like to secure the information that they provide also.

    Can you help me?

I was wondering if HIPAA compliant forms could be used for other branches too. — Once you convert your account into HIPAA account, all data will be moved to Jotform's dedicated HIPAA server.

This would be applied to all of your forms once you convert to HIPAA. If you are asking if HIPAA would be applied to your other forms, then the answer is yes.

    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out if the HIPAA compliant form is only meant for the medical branch or not?

Could it be used to receive secured info i.e. the finance branche?

    Hi,

Every company can use HIPAA compliance feature. I see it speaks about sensitive healthcare information all around, but that's probably because that type of data requires the highest level of security by the law. To sign a BAA and to use HIPAA level of data protection, we do not require your company to belong to a medical branch. Here you can review BAA application: https://www.jotform.com/hipaa/baa/

And please also take a look through this article for more related information: What is HIPAA complaince?

Please also note that there are some restrictions on features/integrations a HIPAA form can use. We will be glad to assist if you need more help, just let us know.
