    PayPal isn't triggering the Form Submission Approvals

    I'm having to manually approve all payments made via an integrated PayPal form. Is there a way for PayPal to trigger a notification in Jotform that will 'approve' the submission and send the form?

    The payments have cleared PayPal so the payment is good - shouldn't that trigger approval of the submission in Jotform?

    Hello,

    You're right. Once the paypal payment is cleared, information filled out by the user should be available in your submissions page. It is weird that you don't get the information at all. Could probably be caused by a bug.

    Can you give me more details, like when did it start happening? How often does the form submission fail after paypal clearance?

    The PayPal payments are successfule each time and they go to pending just fine,but the payments arn't showing up as cleared - so I have to go in and manually approve each submission to trigger the notification email.

    Is there some trigger from PayPal (like the IPN message) that tells Jtform that the payment is paid?

    Hello Icfair,

    This has recently been handled by our development team.  As per Aytekin, there was a code change that was made with the Dropbox integration and has now already been fixed.

    You will now again be able to receive the emails after successful payment submissions.  This also only affected the emails.
