I have to create a RFI (Request For Information) form where i can send questions which i get answers for., those answers i get get logged in a queue., it's like a running queue of answers that we keep record of.
Form 1 sent to architect
Form 1 response from architect
form 2 sent to architect
form 2 response from architect
so this can go up to 10 or tell instances
all of these forms get saved into a queue., like a spread sheet

You can try it. SImply enter your questions/answer and submit. You will see that the HTML Report embedded on the form updates with each entry.
Feel free to clone the form and use it as you wish.

is it better to do a grid or html listing on this.. i cloned the form and it looks like it would work for me but not sure whether you did it with html or grid.. also when i try to edit the html., it like disappears somehow..
i tried to do a grid and got the following result per http://form.jotformpro.com/form/30818621714957 however.,
the way the project works is that there is an RFI (request for information)., and this RFI is sent to someone who has to respond to..
A project can have more then 10 or 20 RFIs
when an RFI-1 is sent the "Description" is entered, and a "request return date"
when the architect responds to the RFI-1 in "Comment" area, the "actual return date" is logged.
the problem is how can we get the description and comment shown on the same line?.. or something similar.. that RFI-1 description and RFI-1 comment clearly viewed by both the person who sent for the information and the person who replied to the information..

Unfortunately, I couldn't think of a possible workaround for that because the function that you'd like to have is something not possible.
You may consider Sending the Form Responses to Multiple Recipients, this guide: Send Form Emails to Multiple Recipients, then ask their (RFI's) description and comments through email and edit the submissions to add them on the same line.
I have changed my original sample so that the answers appear on the same line.
The way it works is, Person A asks the question to person B.
Person A needs to set the destination e-mail so that Person B receives the question.
Person B can answer the question by following the link on the notification e-mail.
By following that link on the e-mail, Person B stays in the same RFI. He can simply append his answer to the question.
You can use the "hover text" on the Text Area to give instructions to the users if you wish.
I also used Auto Fill fields so that the user does not have to type the complete name of the other person.

You can reply and choose my e-mail address as a destination if you wish.

BTW on this sample, I used the Grid Report in stead of the HTML listing. It gives you search options. I also added a Unique Id to genarate the RFI number for easy referencing.
Sorry Ed, thanks so much for your help.. i like where you're going with this., but i think i have a few more chanllenges along the way.. btw, i didn't receive the test submission email.. it seems that the email isn't going anywhere..I added my other email address and still no luck..
One of the issues also doing it this way is that Le'ts say the RFI001 is for a Millwork issue. The comment or reply to the Millwork issue should be still for RFI001..and maybe another unique field assigned that would read this way., RFI001-01, RFI001-02, RFI001-03., so that the RFI001 comments are sorted from 01 to 03..
Like i said all of these RFI's are for a particular project 12345 and within that project, we can have multiple RFI's happening.. RFI001 issues get comments for RFI001., and RFI002 are for RFI002etc..
so when we're looking at the submitted RFI's we can litteraly sort by RFI and see question/comment, question/comment sorted in a way where we have a history of what happened with RFI001.. i'm sorry i know this is a pain in the AZ... also how can i make the fields smaller so that the colums in the grid are smaller, so the user can see more..

The form will have an RFI assigned to it and you can simply sort the table listing your responses by RFI.
The comments will be tagged with a submission date and time to see which comes first. In fact, they will be displed in order.
Please give that a try and let me know if that can work (unfortunately you can not have more then one counter fields on one form.
BTW - when testing please use your e-mail as destination so that you get the link to add more comments to the RFI.
Eduardo., i created forms out of both above links., The RFI creator is working in the sense where i can see a submission., however., the second form with the grid is not putting in a submission., it seems to be going to your own grid.. does that make sense., and when i submit it says that the email is coming from EdMendez., i can work that out no problem though.. another thing i need to do is add more fiields to the Grid form.. i will also need to build a field so certain individuals are copied on the email..

You were right, the Grid report was set on Eduardo's original form. Because you have only cloned his form, the Free Text(HTML) field still contains Ed's original grid report.
What I suggest you do is to create your own Grid report of the form. Use this guide https://www.jotform.com/help/105-Grid-Listing
Get the iframe source code of the report and paste that grid report embed code into the HTML field of the form
When creating the grid report, there is an option which fields you want included in the report. You can check it when you create the report.
