Please note that Multiline question allows you to add following type of form fields:

Textbox Field

Email Field

Number Field

Dropdown Field

Phone Field

Please let us know what type of form field you want to add in multiline question and we will take a look.

The form I am currently building is long. I like the card style, but I need to add 4/5 questions per card to offer a good user experience. 

I am using most of the fields and some widgets...

As far as I see you are using a multi-page form instead of card layout. In your case, I believe the multi-page form is great. Please contact us whenever you have any questions.
