I have events that only allow a limited number of people.  I want registrants to be able to sign up more than one person, but we have to have a cap on the total amount.  I know I can limit submissions, but that doesn't help when people are registering more than one person.

    For example,

Event has a 20 person limit

Registrant 1 says 4 people are coming.

Registrant 2 says 3 people are coming.

How do I get the system to count those 7 people and not the 2 submissions?  And how can it stop taking submissions once it reaches 20 people?

You can use the Inventory widget or Quantity Gift Registry widget. I created a demo form that you can check and test.  Here's the link:

The form won't submit once it reaches 20 registers. You can submit as many as you like for test on my demo form.

Let us know if you have questions. Thank you.
