    Hello,

    You have Stripe payment field in the form. However, it is not yet connected to any Stripe account. Kindly check that again and make sure to connect your account in the settigs;

    Yes.  I don’t use Stripe or any other payment system.  I keep clients’ credit cards on file for monthly billing, so I just need to be able to have them fill out the form securely and get that information to me so I can keep it on file.  Is there something that I’m missing in the set up?

    Your form is set up with the Stripe payment field, but not yet connected to any Stripe account. You have a product item there, but it's hidden with some custom CSS codes. The way how you want the field or the form to send you the data is not possible. Stripe does not send you the card details, just the client information.

    We also do not allow forms to collect credit card information in plain text fields (Short Text Entry). Doing so would alert our system, and will automatically suspend your account. We have this included in our Terms of Use (https://www.jotform.com/help/8-Terms-of-Use).

    I would suggest registering for Stripe account and connect it to the form. Then, keep your current set up in it to charge clients at a later date.
