My colleagues are getting a 404 error not found after clicking the download links through email

    My fellow jotform users are getting a 404 Not found error after clicking document download links in the notification emails.

    We would like to be able to download directly from the emails, as the links suggest is possible, without visiting the website.

    What could be causing this? It works fine on my macbook but not their PC's.

    Hi Sunshine,

    You have the file privacy enabled in your account settings. When privacy is enabled, you cannot download the file unless you will log in first to your account on the browser before clicking the download link through email.

    You have to uncheck the option to let others download files from your form.
