Form Calculation cannot be performed with the IOS7 Date Picker widget

In the form below I have cards that calculate age, but it's not working.

I have a card that is "Birthdate" which is an IOS7 date picker. The parent will enter the child's birthdate into this card.

Another card is "Today" which is another date picker.

Another field called "Calculation"  does the prescribed calculation of

       floor((Today-Birthdate)/365.25)

The Today field and the Calculation field will eventually be hidden.  (This is a test form that I try new things in.)

A condition is set on the Calculation to show the text field (physically sitting right after the Birthdate card) warning that their child's age is less than 6 or more than 14.

It's not working.  Can you help me please.   I tried a different date picker but didn't like it's responsiveness to the mouse clicks,  and I switched to the IOS7 picker.

I looked at the calculation field's value (since it's now NOT hidden during a test run) and it had a value I could not explain.

    Thanks.Dan

It seems the issue is with the iOS7 Date widget. Could you please replace the widget with a normal Date Picker field and see if the works?

    Thanks Andrew.

The date picker I am seeing is very clumsy in sensing the mouse pointer. The widget  seems to require the pointer to be in a very small area that isn't obvious.    I want a date field with no picker.  I want the user to just type in the date.  I have such an element in other forms, but as I make changes in  the test form, I can't find this simple date element on the left side.   What am I doing wrong.

I made several tests on my cloned form and a new form I created and it seems that the calculation cannot be performed properly with the IOS7 Date Picker widget. I will report this issue to our developers. We will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved.

For now, I can only suggest you to use a basic Date Picker field of some other Date widget, like Date Picker widget.

    Thanks for the quick response.

You really didn't answer my question:  Isn't there a Date Element that requires the user to manually type the date...and that will work with calculating the age???   (no picker...just type in the birth date.)  I need the birth date element to be "required".  For the "Today" element, I need it to be automatically set itself to the current date.

You may try a Birth Date Picker widget. The Birth Date Picker in card layout form allows the manual input, and it should work with calculations as well.
