I'm sorry, but your message was incomplete. To clarify, when a form gets submitted (https://www.jotform.co/form/90357146781866) a notification is sent, but you don't received any attachment in the notification, correct?
As I checked the form, the field is not marked as required so user can skip the file upload field. Please try enabling the required option.
Let us know how it goes.

Thank you. You interpreted my message correctly.
The problem is not because attachments are optional.
I find that I can receive attached images on my laptop in outlook but not on my mobile where they are forwarded to - error 402 apparently - so it appears to be a security problem with my android mobile.....

May we know the android version of your phone?
Unfortunately, I don't have an android phone to test your form but I have tested a cloned version of your form using my iPhone and I was able to view the uploaded images without any issues.
Let us know if the issue still remains.

I have tested a cloned version of your form using an online testing tool for android and I can't seem to replicate the issue.
The upload link in the email doesn't return an error when opened.
I have cleared your form cache.
Kindly test your form again and let us know how it goes.
