how to turn off a google form

Hey, 

We'll be staging a play in December, at least this is the plan. So, I want to collect applications from actor and actresses. They'll send an audition video and a couple of photographs. But the thing is that auditions are gonna be quite competitive and I want to close the applications in a couple weeks after ads are posted. I'm trying to build a google form for this purpose but couldn't find out how to close the form. Can you help me with that ?

Google does not have an option for closing a form at a particular time. You can do that by using an add-on like formlimiter. JotForm, however, offers an in-built feature that allows you to turn off your form whenever you want. It's much easier and super convenient. It's just one click away.  

We do have two options in terms of closing forms at a certain time, which are time-based and submission-based. Time-based one is about closing form at a particular day and hour. You can select the date and time, and then your form won't be available for more submissions after that deadline is passed.

Submission-based one, on the other hand, turns off the form when a particular number of submission number is reached. You can set the number based on how many form submissions you want at maximum. You can use both criteria to disable the form as well.
