I'm confused on the limit of "10 receive payments" for the free Starter Service.  We are a non-profit Girl Scout Day Camp trying to use JotForm to create our registration form (which requires payment). For the Starter Service, we can receive 100 submissions/month. Does the "10 receive payments" mean that only 10 of the 100 registration submissions will be received through JotForm?  Or if we include PayPal, it (not JotForm) will process/receive the 100 registration monies?  Please clarify.  Thanks!

    Hi,

    Let me please clarify that.

Payment Submissions: Number of payment submissions you received since 1st day of this month. If you have integration with Paypal or any other payment gateways on your form (Payment Tools available on JotForm), that's called a "Payment Submissions". A submission will only be counted as "payment" if a form contains one of the payment tools from JotForm. Free accounts are limited to 10 payment submissions per month.

However, like you've mentioned if you are using 3rd party payment gateways using embedded codes, it will be counted as Regular Submissions which is 100 per month.

Hope this clears your question. Thanks!

Thanks for your quick response, EltonCris.  I'm sorry to still not understand.  What are one of the "payment tools from JotForm"? Isn't Paypal one of those? I must be confusing payment tool and payment gateway, so please give me an example of a payment tool.  Thanks.

Also, a local internet provider has graciously offered to donate the processing of secure payments to our non-profit camp. To honor their donation, is it possible to create our forms on JotForm and then place the forms on our website so the payment process via credit card can go through our provider?

    Thanks!

    @ bentondaycampdirector

Hi, for Free Subscriptions, the 100 total submissions includes any of the ff:

    1. 10 SSL submissions

    2. 10 Payments submissions

    3. 100 Regular submissions (if you have 10 Payment or 10 SSL already, then only 90 Regular remains)

    4. 100 MB space

Also, a local internet provider has graciously offered to donate the processing of secure payments to our non-profit camp. To honor their donation, is it possible to create our forms on JotForm and then place the forms on our website so the payment process via credit card can go through our provider?

If the form has payment field (i.e paypal), it will always count as payment submissions on the form and the jotform account that owns the form.

Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Thanks.
