Is it possible to create the customer on Stripe without charging an amount?

Hi there,

We've been using this widget to capture the credit card information of our customers who use the form to register for our service, however we want to be able to instead of charging the customer a fee, provide it free and only create the customer profile within our Stripe account.

Stripe has the functionality to create a customer instead of a charge, and store their card for future use.

Can we do this with the Stripe widget? 

I have been testing this and found you may set up the payment integration to charge the customer later so this will create the customer record on Stripe, but note that you need to set up at least one product and it should not be free.
