Hi.
We want to use Jotform as an event booking form.We organize about 30 to 40 seminars (events) from now to end 2019 in different countries (Germany, Austria, Italy).
The visitor should first see all events and should have the possibilities to filter (country, date like month, type of seminar). Then the visitor should be able to select the event he wants to book. Next he enters the usual data (name, address, email, phone ..).
Is this possible with Jotform?
Thanks for your help,
Andreas

You have to create conditions to create filter options.
Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/57-Conditional-Logic-for-Online-Forms
Guide: https://www.jotform.com/blog/form-conditional-logic/
You can try out our AutoComplete Widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/autocomp. This widget should allow you to type in a letter or two and display a list of items that begin with those letters.
For booking you may refer to these widgets:
https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/appointment_slots
https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry
Do let us know if you need further assistance.
Thank you.

Thanks for your reply.
I’m building my form slowly -> https://eu.jotform.com/build/92165113024344#preview
I found a Widget “Data Grid”. This would be perfect for us, because the visitor can type an search for a certain data.
I miss here the possibility to “select” a row. In this case this would be the event the visitor is booking.
Is there a widget where I can select an item (in our case event)? This could be also a “shopping” widget with different articles (our events).
Thanks for your help,
Andreas

Unfortunately, the Data grid is the static representation of the data where you cannot select and submit the selected entry.
To achieve this you would have to use the Autocomplete fields as suggested in my previous post. You may use both Data Grid to display the events and Autocomplete fields to capture the selection.
Also, you may use the Dynamic Dropdowns widget. It has the main functionality of dropdowns to select only from the options available present. Please check the screencast below to see if that is what you need:
Hope this helps!
Thanks.

I will try to use the dynamic dropdown widget.
How can I use the autocomplete widget to capture the data grid data?
Thanks for your help,
Andreas

You would need to set up the Autocomplete widget separately. It still depends on the data, but you can have the data in the Data Grid widget added to the Autocomplete widget.
Your respondents would still need to have the data they searched in the Data Grid widget entered manually into the Autocomplete widget.
But, if you are looking to automatically pass the data searched in the Data Grid widget into another field/widget, I'm afraid that it would not be possible.
