Kiosk Mode : Thank you screen appears twice

    Hi guys,

    Sorry to come back to you on this matter.

    This is about the 'long time' it takes to loop when in 'kiosk mode'.

    Once a student presses submit on the form, 2 'Thank you' screens come up.


    I see no reason the second screen to appear.

    It also, has a 5 second delay that should be eliminated.

    Again, it seems to load the app every time there is a submission ?!


    - the first screen comes up in a reasonable time, and that's OK

    - the second should be eliminated if on 'kiosk mode'. No need to repeat the 'thank you'  message.

    - why the re-load of the app has to occur at every submit ?

    I measured the total time it's taking after submit is pressed and it takes over 11 seconds.

    When you have a queue of kids trying to 'sign in' it's too long.

    Guys, I've been an IT person for many, many years. Please, please, think about improving this submission  time.

    Thank you for your attention and let me know what I can do myself to improve this this 'delay'

    Thank you for sending detailed information on the issue. I can see you have customized your Thank you page, meaning, it may display momentarily before the final submission confirmation appears on the Kiosk Mode. 

    This page, however, refreshes automatically in 5 seconds and the form re-appear. You can also tap the Refresh Form the page to reload the form before the form automatically refreshes. This entire process only takes about 5-6 seconds. 

    When I tested my forms I did not experience app-reload every time the form was submitted.

    Could you tell which form you are facing this issue with? Also, let us know which device you are using so we can test this further.

    Hi guys,

    Thanks to responding to my concerns.

    The form that I'm still testing is:

    So, the sequence of events:

    1-Choose the form "HQ Sing In Form"

    2-Cpen in 'Kiosk mode' loads very quick.-------OK

    3-enter "Member Number", "First" & "Last Name" (no need for barcode)

    4-Press Go----thank you page comes up very quick ----OK

    now the issue:

    5-Loads the 'second Thank you" screen ----unnecessary for 'kiosk mode' if you have a 'personalized  thank you ' screen


    6-You have to wait 5 seconds----should be eliminated or at least optional/configurable.

    7-Then, you have to wait for the form to load again (see below) taking another 4 seconds ?! before the form above is ready for another input.


    I'm using the following iPad but it also happens on the full size as well.


    Guys, I'm not sure what can be done to improve this, but your help is very much appreciated.

    Thank you for your feedback, we are constantly thriving to improve our platform. Mobile application experience will also be enhanced with time. 

    To test your issue, I cloned your form and tried to complete the form in Kiosk mode. It did not take more than 5-6 seconds to reload the form after it was submitted. 

    Could you make a clone version of your existing form and tried to use in Kiosk mode?

    Thanks for the feedback. I have raised this concern with our Tier 2 team. They shall do more analysis and will get back to you as soon as there is an update.
