I can no longer access the form's primary parameters.

It's not obvious to me how to pull up the forms parameters. This would be where you can set whether or not to show blank fields.

I can pull them up for each of the fields, and until recently, could pull up the overall settings by clicking off of the canvas. This no longer seems to work.

Could you demonstrate to me how to pull up these settings? 

The settings can be opened by clicking on the field and then clicking the gear icon:
