Why is my form running so slowly?

I've spent many months crafting a Jotform form for clients to fill in to request water testing services. However, the form runs so slowly that it is almost completely unusable, and I feel I'll have to scrap it and find another solution.

I understand that the form is long, and has a huge number of conditions (over 250), and this might be the reason. We need this number of conditions in order to perform all the functions we need, e.g. categorize the client and show them the appropriate testing and pricing options etc. Part of the reason there are so many rules is because I was not able to write my own simpler conditions in script (e.g. one condition changing multiple values in one rule).

I would like to know why exactly the form is running so slowly, and if you know if there are any ways I could make it run faster?

Also, I'm interested in the idea of downloading the source code and adding my own conditions in Javascript in the hopes of making the process more efficient, but looking at the code I can't find a simple way of finding and editing the conditions. Can you help with this?

Many thanks for any help you can provide!
