is it possible to add a (hidden) timestamp in the form itself(not in mail or thank-you-page). Goal is to show a warning text and send an e-mail notification only when current date is past a set conditional date.
I want to add feature without users having to fill in current date(=submission date)
today(submission date) = 14-3-2013.
if today is later than for example 1-3-2013(set conditional date); then show text/send e-mail notification`.
so, submissions before 1-3-2013 dont show text/send mail-notification

I was testing a way to accomplish this and here is a form I created:
The "Date & Time" field I added at the top of the form has today's date by default.
I then set a condition to change the "Thank You" msg if todays date was after 2013 - 03 -13
I also set a conditional e-mail to be trigered if todays date was after 2013 - 03 - 13
The downside to using the Date & Time field as a Time Stamp is that users can edit this field if they want.
Please gie this a try and let me know if that helps!

Ok I understand.
You are mentioning the downside of using date&time field as timestamp is that users can edit this field if they want. Indeed, I don,t want to give the opportunity. Therefore this field should be hidden, in my opinion. How can i achieve that ?

Unfortunately, I was not able to make it hidden. When I hide the field, it does not work with the cnoditions. However, I was able to make the date so that it is not editable.
Please take a look at the form.
This is what I did in order to make it uneditable,
I added a transparent .gif image to the form. I then used CSS to move the image on top of the date field. This way the user is not able to edit the date.
