How to make Appointment Slots Booking form with inventory.

Any ideas for a work around to solve the problem I have in this form.

The objective of the form is to provide for parents booking in 1-5 children for A visit to Santa's Grotto in such  a way that the allocated 'Places' for that time slot can be auto deducting from the available 'places' . IE: If a parent books 4 how can we facilitate allocation of the available places?

The Appointment Slots Widget is great for single places but cannot be configured to link in with the number selected.

There will be a defined number of 'Places' available for every Half Hour from 10:00 - 17:30 For the moment that number is 10.

How might I go about achieving a booking system where the user can choose a variable number of 'Places' and where there is a restriction on the number of places that can be processed in a 30 Minute Period?

I think what I don't understand if you mean to link the number of children booked by the parent to the number of available slots per timeframe. So, if a parent chooses three (3) children, do you want to deduct this number to the available slots in the widget? 

You have also mentioned 'Places', but I don't see this as a field, so I'm not sure if you mean the Timeframe. Please clarify how you'd like to format or structure the form. 

Places or children or slots = the same -
YES if a parent chooses 3 Children I want to deduct this number from the
widget and if they chose 2 - deduct 2 from number of avaiable slots etc etc
Does that give you the clarity you need to help me?

 Hi,

You may use the Ticket Purchases widget. This widget is a checklist of tickets with a counter that tells your form users how many tickets are available before they get sold out.

In this way, you can limit bookings on a certain schedule/timeframe and in different places. At the same time, you can tell how many slots are still available or could serve as an inventory of your booking schedules.

In addition to having up to 5 Persons that can be booked in a single booking by a Mum or Dad.

We also have the complication of needing to spread all the booking across 24 Timed slots between 10:00 and 17:30 on the event day.

Might you still think TICKET Purchases can be configured for this use?

I'm not seeing where it takes into consideration the 24 slots that day each slot can take a max of 10 Persons

Any comment or am I missing something please?

If time is after "17:00" or Time is before "10:00" then

2. Next and Previous button

Show the

1. Text message

Also, do you want to limit the users to select 10 quantity?

Sorry you are misunderstanding the requirement - Apologies for my lack of clarity.

Thank you Roneet,  think I might be getting there with the GIFT REGISTRY - will sort out some conditional logic and test again.

I understand that you want to select the same no of slots from the widget automatically based on the number of children selected. For instance, if the number of children is 4, you want 4 to be selected in the widget. If so, unfortunately, it is not possible to pass a value to the widgets in any way. It is required to select the value from the widget manually.

Please do let us know if you are referring to something different. It would be helpful if you can provide us with an example so that we can assist you further.

users can fill in teh form 24/7
my reference to 24 SLOTS was that slot one is 10:00 and Slot 24 is 17:30
It was not referring to the times that users could submit
...

I inspected your form and I saw that you added the Quantity Gift Registry widget. Available times are from 10:00 to 17:30. Can you please confirm that your issue is now resolved?
