The first field on the form is for an email address.

Can whatever they enter be become  pre-populated in an open text area at the bottom of the form by using merge tags?

    Thanks,

    Andy

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, merging fields within one form on our builder is not yet available at this point.

You can have a field from one form pre-populate another form after a submission.

This is done using the URL prepopulation.  here is a guide to help you with this:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-the-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

In other words,  you can gather information on form1 and have that form redirect (using the "Thank You" button and the "Custom URL" option) the user to form2 with a URL that prepopulates a field with info from the first form.

If you think this can be an option, let us know and we'll be glad to assist you.
