I want to conditionally change the properties of a textbox field.
My form has a hidden field called "ROLE". If "ROLE"!="SECRET", then I want to make another textbox field as read-only. For any other values of "ROLE", the textbox field is editable.
How to achieve this using jotform server. I dont have a private webserver for this.

You can use the URL pre-populated parameter to have this behaviour in your form.
Test this form using its URL
Notice the 2nd have an additional role textbox that is read-only.
You can use this technique by providing the link to your users using the URL pre-populated parameters.
Hope this help. Inform us if you have further inquiry.
