    I need the signature for proof that they read the form.

    What can I do or what am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    Sorry but signature images can't be displayed on Text Formatted Email Notification. I'd suggest to recreate your form notification and don't make any modification in it to avoid this issue.

    Here's how to do that,

    1. Delete your Notification: How to Delete Notifications/Autoresponder

    2. Recreate: Receiving Emails on Form Submissions

    Hope this helps. Thanks!

    @Masalamedia

    Actually that's how e-signature works for now. Sorry if you don't find it a good one but there's nothing we can do as of the moment. However, let me please inform you that our dev team are still working for a resolution about the problem. You will be informed here once it's fixed.

    We would also appreciate if you could post your issues on a separate thread which I have advised on your main thread. Thanks for your understanding!

    @EltonCris

    Are you saying that I cannot view e-signatures within emails? Why is the option available then? How can I make it so I can view the e-signatures as it would be a critical part of the form process.

    I am not really sure what either of your suggestions will do for me (deleting the notification and recreating the email)

    Hi Josh,

    Sorry, let me please clarify that. You currently have modified your notification settings, I can see from here that you've switched it to text format notification. Since we still have issues with e-signature on text-formatted notifications, we'd recommend to delete your existing notification and create a new one. That should restore back your form notification to HTML Format and that fixes the problem. Please refer to the previous guides above or check below:

    1. Delete your Notification: How to Delete Notifications/Autoresponder

    2. Recreate: Receiving Emails on Form Submissions

    Let us know if you still have further questions regarding this matter. Thank you!

    I have deleted the email notifications and created them in HTML - The format looks a lot better but the signature images are not coming across in the email. It still says SIGNATURE and a blank box.

    I am sure there is some way to view the electronic signature otherwise you would have never created the option. What am I doing wrong? Everything else on the form comes in email format perfectly.

    Hi Josh,

    Apologize if the issue caused any trouble on your end. I would suggest to re-create again the notification but never alter the content box. Never add anything on the Notification Window. Only Edit the Subject Title.

    This thread is already forwarded to our developers, we'll let you know if there's a permanent fix on this matter.

    Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Do you mean that I can change whatever I want in the red area and it will work with the signature now?

    @crash2199,

    I just tested the function and yes, I can confirm that you can now add or edit the content in the notification area.

    Thanks

    @Welvin

    I edited the words 'JotForm' from the red area and now the e-signature does not show up again.
