Hi support,
I am attempting to pass information from a URL to a form and it will not seem to work no matter how I input the string. I am currently using Zendesk Sandbox to test this and I have the below code based on the auto-generator you have in your support pages. I have also tried replacing the & syntax with ? to see if that changes things, but it doesn't seem to work either way although when using ? it will pass the information into the URL bar, but the form doesn't pick up on it at all.
Full test code:

Answered my own question. URL does pass information on but NOT to the welcome page! Food for thought just in case anyone hit the same snag

Yes, you can only pass value to elements. Since welcome page doesn't have this, you can't pass value from another form field's form.
