My current account is a Premium account.  I currently use the PayPal Express Widget in my forms.

Question  1: Can I switch to the PayPal checkout widget without upgrading my account?

Another person in our organization is considering creating a new, separate free account.

Question 2: With the  "deprecating" I only recently see described in the PayPal Express widget, can he use the PayPal Express Widget in his free account?

Question 3:  Can he use the PayPal Checkout Widget in his free account?

Thanks for answer all 3 questions!

Question 1: Can I switch to the PayPal checkout widget without upgrading my account?

The PayPal Checkout payment field is available on every account regardless of the subscription that account has. You don't heed a paid subscription to add it to your form. However, please be reminded that you can only add 1 payment field in a single form. Also, accounts on a free subscription are allowed to receive 10 payments submissions in a month.

Although it doesn't require you to upgrade your JotForm account, to use the PayPal Checkout integration, you would need a PayPal Premier or Business account.

How do I change the type of PayPal account I have?

Question 2: With the "deprecating" I only recently see described in the PayPal Express widget, can he use the PayPal Express Widget in his free account?

Same as with the PayPal Checkout payment field, the PayPal Express payment field is also available for accounts on a free subscription. But, it also requires that you have a PayPal Business account to use the integration.

Question 3: Can he use the PayPal Checkout Widget in his free account?

Yes, the PayPal Checkout widget can be used by a JotForm account with a free subscription. You may also refer to my answer in Question #1.
