What would be good is to have a unique submission method where a one time code is required for submission, and that code is barred from usage once used.

    Example.

Form to be used by 3 users, in which the 3 codes were give:

    CodE01

    COde02

    CoDE03

For the users to submit the form, at the end, they will need to enter their respective code, ie. COde02. Once entered, the database will take note of it, and when attempted to enter again with that same code, it will not be allowed.

    @ webuser.my

You can achieve this by using JotForms "Form Limit" >> "Unique Question".

Please follow these steps to achieve this:

    1. Add a Text Field for code with label code

    2. Click on "Setup & Embed"

    3. Click on "Preferences"

    4. Go to Tab "Form Limits"

    5. On the Unique Question section select the code field from dropdown

    Hope this helps!!

    Thanks,

    Sidharth

Is there a way for Jotform to validate the code entered? Using the example above, CodEo1 when entered would be considered invalid.

The only way around could be through conditional logics so that

IF code is EQUAL to   xxx

    then

Show  "not valid" (in a text field)

If this is not a solution for you , please open a separate thread and explain the scenario, as this is a very old thread

    Thanks
