Email Confirmation Problem? Help!

    How long do email confirmations take to come into effect? Or is something wrong?

    I've created 2 auto responding email for 2 forms. Test emails work. But when I add a submission myself, I never receive a confirmation.

     

    Can you please advise?

    Hi Erlinda,

    I checked the form notification and found out that the recipient e-mail is blank. Please edit the Recipient E-mail and enter your email address. To edit the Recipient E-mail please follow steps below.

    1. Open your form to edit.

    2. Click Setup & Embed > Email Alerts > notifications 

    3. Then click the Reply-to and Recipient setting button.

    4. Edit the Recipient Email.

    I'm sorry, I am actually speaking about Autoresponding emails to submittors.

    Those are not hitting their inbox.

    Hello and that is okay, thank you for clarifying the problem further. For an Autoresponder it should arrive rather quickly though sometimes it may be delayed but will eventually go through. It can also sometimes become a problem if the email host of the recipient recieving the confirmation notification that might see it as spam and then reject or mark as such. In this case it's recommended to check your email/junk folder first. Now if you have a custom email domain through a email host such " fred@testemail.com " the @testemail.com is the custom domain so if they are still not receiving it they would need to double check that and then most likely Whitlist Us or Add us to their Contacts List which will help our Emails to come through in this common scenario.
