We changed a couple of fields on our form and now all of the previously submitted info is missing. Why would that happen? How can we recover it?

    Horrible experience.

    Thank you,

    Hi Corben,

Yes, if you delete a field on a form all the submitted data on the corresponding field will be deleted as well.

You can restore the deleted data on submissions by adding back the deleted field through the Revision History Tool. Then you can set the deleted field to hidden if you still don't want that field to be visible on your form. In that way, the data will remain on your submissions but it's hidden on your form when viewed.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Reverting the form by a few hours removed all of the tags/labels on the forms that were set anywhere from a few months ago to a day ago.

Any way to get those back?

Like the yellow 'in progress' tag, those are all gone on all of our forms

The tag you're referring is only available on Inbox when you view your form submissions. It is not visible on the form builder.

Upon checking, reverting your form to its previous version affects the tags you've set in the Inbox view because it affects the submissions data when some fields where removed. I'm not sure if this was made intentional or this is how it really works but I have escalated this to our developers for further investigation. I think it should not affect the tags set in Inbox view when revisions are used.

Thanks for escalating it. I agree that it's not the expected action of reverting the template. Hopefully this will get fixed and future reversions of the form won't cause this.

    Thank you
