    Issue reported since 2017:

The QR Code Reader is based on Flash and it is not supported anymore by iOS devices. That could be the reason why it is not working on your iPhone device. I will raise this issue to our dev team for them to check the issue further. However, please note that we cannot provide you an ETA for when this will be fixed.

It is still pending, isn't it?

    Best regards

    Hi @jelizondo,

Unfortunately, yes. I've just tried accessing a form with QR Code Reader using an iPhone 6+ but it only gives me a black screen. I think the widget is still not optimized for iOS devices.

Let me forward a new ticket to our developers so we could ask for an update regarding this issue. Rest assured that we'll keep you apprised on this thread once an update is available.

    Hello,

We would like to inform you that we have updated the QR Reader widget and now it should work on iOS Safari too (tested on latest iOS 12 and 13 versions).

Also, the widget now supports file uploading. If the access to the web camera is blocked the widget will throw file upload like Barcode Scanner widget and the customers will be able to upload a QR code image. The widget will throw file upload on Chrome and Firefox browsers on iOS in order to support the widget's work on these browsers on iOS (the web camera will not be loaded because of the security reasons of Apple Inc.).

The browser's cache and browsing data need to be cleared before testing the widget.

    Thank you!
