    Issue with embed code

Asked by reedsgiveaway on April 02, 2013 at 09:19 AM

    Hey guys,

I've created a giveaway form for Mother's Day, and I'm having an issue with the form actually appearing in my html file. I have used this exact layout and file before with no problems. Whats even more strange, it worked great yesterday but this morning it quit all together. I'm using the embed code option.

    <div id="form"><script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotformpro.com/jsform/30903769915968"></script></div>

I've also tried the embed code in a blank html file and it does not appear. I'm starting to think this is a issue for Jotforms, especially considering my file worked great yesterday. Any ideas are greatly appereciated.

    Thanks,

    Brad

Ok I think I found something. Not that this is a feasable solution, but i tried populating my file with another form i had previously created, and everything worked fine. So apparently something is corrupt for my Mother's Day form. This is obviously a glitch of some sort.

One last thing. I have cloned my original Mother's Day Giveaway form, copied the same embed form, and produced the results i was looking for.

My original form was apprently corrupt. If this were to happen during the giveaway launch, it would be catastrophic. This should be addressed.

I checked with the form you originally created at the beginning of this thread and found out that the script was not working since the form was deleted.

    Script You Used:

    <div id="form"><script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotformpro.com/jsform/30903769915968"></script></div>

What is shown when viewing the Form:

After reading through the rest of your notes though I take it this happened to correct it using a Cloned Version of your form as you've mentioned. We do greatly appreciate you bringing all of this to our attention. Usually Cloning the form on your own is normally the quickest way to easily resolve a problem that we recommend sometimes as occasional and unexpected bugs can sometimes happen which causes the issue that just occured for you. I have cleared your form cache from our end to refresh this and help try to prevent this from reoccuring and we do deeply apologize about this problem. If you continue to experience this issue please let us know immediately and we will have our developers look more into the problem.

You are correct. I deleted the older version after cloning. Thanks for your help. The working form can be seen here.
