HIPAA Forms: Ability to clone forms

    Hi @cabrinirx,

    I can see that you have enabled HIPAA on your account. Please note that Privacy Settings for this type are always ENABLED.

    Due to HIPAA privacy regulations, you will always be required to login to your Jotform account to view this submission data.

    If those settings can be disabled, that would defeat the purpose of HIPAA Privacy regulations.

    Thank you, John. My follow-up questions are:

    1.) Cloning a form wouldn't necessarily be violating HIPAA as it is simply cloning the form and not accessing other patient-related data. Is it possible to have that option available even with HIPAA enabled?

    2.) Is there a way to temporarily suspend the HIPAA abilities so that I can get these forms cloned?

    We do understand, however, cloning a form is not enabled due to technical restrictions when the account is in a HIPAA environment. But let me forward it as a feature request to our developers and see if that can be considered. Though I may not able to provide an ETA when or will it be implemented, you'll be informed on this thread for updates.

    Yes, you can disable HIPAA to be able to clone your forms and then re-enable it in your account data page.

    Hi @cabrinirx,

    Sorry for my late reply. You can change clone settings from the account page without disabling HIPAA compliance now.

    If you uncheck "Do not allow forms to be cloned by other users" option, your forms will be clonable.
