Have I always wondered about the fiber internet system?

System consisting of a simple glass cable. Two kinds of signals can be given via cable TV and cable. Both cable TV and internet service can be provided over fiber cable. How come this thing doesn't interfere with the signals? And what's the logic of the fiber cable? It's a glass cable. Communicating with the light. But a lot of data is being moved.
