Currently, I have a Premium account. This month is quite busy- I am expecting to have more than 1000 submissions- how can I upgrade my account for just one month?

You can downgrade your account next month if you wish to. Here are the steps on how to downgrade your account. And you can also upgrade your account anytime.
1. Click Account.
2. Click Billing.
3. Then click the Free plan.

It is not a soultion for me- currently I have premiumaccount which I have pre paid until december, 2014. What I want is to be able to accept more than 1000 submissions only this month.

Let me re-phrase what my colleague have mention.
You can upgrade your account today or tomorrow for let say "Economy", this will allow you to received up to 10, 000 submissions per month. Then before the next billing date, downgrade your account again to our "Premium" plan.
You can upgrade/downgrade your account anytime you wish.

In Addition, a prorated refund will be applied, or credit will be applied to the remaining days of your subscription. Of course, regular prices will be applied since we don't have the discounted prices anymore.
Again, you can upgrade and downgrade anytime you wish. Just please access your My Account - Billing Section page, choose "Economy" plan and click "Switch Plan". Choose Payment Method and Schedule and Click "Upgrade". Follow next processes;

I am willing to downgrade my account to my "normal" premium plan. i have subscribed to premium plan last December, and I paid 2 years ahead. I upgraded to economy plan last month- and I would like to go back to premium plan before the next billing (9th of May). When I go to my account as described above, new payment is demanded, though I have a two year subscription. So can you help me to resolve this issue?

I can see here that your economy subscription is now cancelled so you will no longer be billed again with this. I have now switched your account from the previous plan which is the 2 year Premium package.

Now my plan is switched to free account- althpough I have payed for the premium package. Please switch my plan to what I have payed for. This matter is very urgent for me- I have 15 hours to complete something I wanted to use jotform for.
I do hope you urgently set my account back to my original, Premium plan
