Why is it close to impossible to align the fields in the PDF Editor?

Why am I having the hardest time trying to rearrange the fields in the pdf? When clicking the right-hand corner - to resize the field - the field acts like it doesn't want to resize. then when I move it to where it needs to be - it is close to impossible to align the fields. What is going on?

Could you let us know the form URL or the PDF Editor link where you are trying to make the changes so that we could check the same from our end?

I just find it extremely difficult to resize fields and position to my liking. Im a designer by trade so I am driven by both function and design - not to mention my boss is a stickler for details and symmetry

Thank you for providing the details. I tried to align and adjust one of the fields, mainly the Header and it is working fine.
