The Random Value Generator widget is not generating data when hidden

I have added a random value generator field to my form in order to display it in several places (thank you page, email, and google sheet integration). I have noticed that if the field is hidden the value does not display in any of the three places mentioned above. Is there a way to use the random value as a hidden field. Our apologies, but you should not hide the widget. There is an option to run it in the background. Please do that instead of the Hide option in the field properties.

Set "Run in the Background" to Yes.
