Unable to Map Phone Field if Input Masking is Enabled - Zoho

    I am trying to connect my Phone field (in form) to Form field in Zoho, but when I try to integrate it says "Add Phone Field to Form". which is already added.

    Could it be because I am using "input mask"?

    What should I do?

    Hi,

    I checked your forms and I cannot see form with phone field. Please make sure you have save the form before you integrate it. Please share us the form url so can investigate more. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for providing the form URL. After various testing, it seems that you are right with the above statement. If you will enable "Input Masking", the Phone Field is not visible on the dropdown during integration.

    For that to work with your current integration, I'd suggest you to remove the Input Masking.

    Ok, so without input-mask why does it give 2 text boxes (one for area code and one for number). I want to use 1 textbox and with same format as other fields.

    Hi,

    Actually, it is one field only but due to the customizations done on the form, both boxes width are adjusted and align up and down.

    We can adjust the both fields to aligned side by side, or we can remove one of the box all through custom CSS injection.

    If you want to align boxes side by side, inject this codes;

    #input_12_area {width: 56px !important;}

    #input_12_phone {width: 109px !important;}

    If you want to remove one of the box (area), inject this codes;

    #sublabel_area, #input_12_area {display: none;}

    #sublabel_phone  {display: none;}

    #input_12_phone {margin-left: -10px !important;}

    ok Thanks. It worked with custom CSS.

    How can I get Hint value (placeholder) settled for same field, as it's not showing in propertiese.

    Sorry but it is not yet possible on the phone fields via form builder. The best way to achieve that is to edit your form source code and add placeholder attribute on the text box line where you'd like it to appear. Example:

    placeholder="123"

    Hi,

    This issue has been fixed, the phone field with input mask can now be included in the zoho integration. Please confirm if this works on your side.

    P.S: If you want to have a placeholder on the phone field, please open a new ticket and we will look try to integrate it to the form builder.
