A customizable Grid Reports, most specially custom sorting feature

    The ability to create grid reports where the fields can be ordered differently than they are ordered on the form.
    Where the field widths can be changed and saved into settings.
    And the ability to delete submissions from the report area instead of having to go back to the submissions area.

    The field order for a form will typically have to follow a practical or logical order to meet the needs of the people filling out the form. But for the form owner, viewing them in a grid in that same order may be very impractical.

    For example; the owner may want to see the sender's and recipient's email addresses side by side in the grid. But on the form, one email field gets filled in at the beginning of filling out the form and the other gets filled in at the end, so they are widley separated in the grid.

    The field widths are change-able dynamically, which is nice, but it's a pain in the neck to have to alter them every time the grid is opened. You may, for example, want the first name field included in the grid but only wide enough to show the first few letters of that field.

    Field widths many times offer the user the ability to enter many characters (to cover all possibilities) but in a grid you'll likely see half of the field's column as empty space when the width is fixed by the number of characters.


    As I see it, the entire purpose of setting up a grid is to be able to see an overview of all the data (with no or minimal left-right scrolling) and within that, performing actions like sorting the data by columns and, when needed, being able to perform deletions of submissions which are no longer needed.

    I will forward your ideas to our next level support so that it can be added immediately in the feature request lists.

    As is now, the Grid report and HTML table report, though very easy to use, lack some essential functionalities like custom sorting, column headers fix resizing.

    Maybe we can model the report to that of the simplified data spreadsheet.
