We have multiple Jotforms on multiple websites. After completion of a Jotform the visitor redirects to a custom thank you page. This thank you page is our goal page in Google Analytics.

The last couple of weeks there is an increase in the number of conversion from the url subit.jotform.com and submit.jotformpro.com. Google Analytics measure the refferal Jotform.com as lead source, instead of the original lead source (for example organic, cpc)

How can we make sure that Google Analytics meausures the original source, instead of Jotform?

Hi, I am not very knowledgeable with Google Analytics, so, I will understand if you find my answer not sufficient.

A bit of google search got me this article. Please review it. From what I understand, it gives tips on how you can make sure that measures are done on the original source.

While this article explains a bit about Referral Traffic

Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Thanks.

That is purely okay, you are more then welcome to try out what is mentioned within that thread. However, if you continue to have problems with it and the solution doesn't work to meet your needs please let us know and we will do what we can to assist you further with this.

We have tested  "?utm_nooverride=1" in the thank you url, but the problem still occurs. Some how the redirect from Jotform overrides the orginial tracking cookie.

Do you have any other solution we can try?

    Hi,

Good day! Even the user on that thread does not confirm if that's working for him. If only we could ask him :).

Please try this, using our Change Custom Thank You URL After submissions condition:

Check our guide for: Conditional Logic on Forms

    I hope this will work.

    Thanks

I am also having this issue with my custom "Thank You" URL.  Any solutions?

In google analytics, all of my completed goals show "submit.jotform.co / referral".  How do i show the original source?
