    Can information received from sign ups be collected in a data base or compiled in Microsoft Excel?

    @Kamsmom

    Actually you can do both.

    Excel - You can integrate your form with google spreadsheet and all submission data will be saved there too. Alternatively, you can export the submission data in excel. Pease refer these guides:

    Export Form Submission to Excel

    Google Docs Integration guide

    Database - If you have exposure to PHP/MySQL you can save the submission data to your MySQL database. Please refer this guide for more information on this: http://www.jotform.com/help/126-How-to-Insert-or-update-form-submissions-to-your-MySQL-database-using-PHP

    Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks,
